I wanted to draw Haunter, as he is one of my favorite Pokemon. I also wanted him to look like he did in the Viz Pokemon Comics. He had a slightly more stylized look, which added a level of creepiness that suited Haunters role better.

Then again, everything in the Pokemon comics appeared differently when compared to the game or show. Despite this being more fanart of the comic, I still put it in the "games" section since most people know Pokemon through the game.

HOW ABOUT BOXES FOR A BACKGROUND?

wow....that is rather creepy...

much more sinister than Haunter from any of the games.
