An acrylic scenery painting I finished today. I don’t know how long it took to do exactly, but I would say somewhere around five hours, I’m a slow painter with acrylic. I also made it up as I went along with only a vague idea of what I wanted it to look like in my mind.
The canvas dimensions were too big for my scanner and I had to resort to taking a picture of it with a digital camera. Due to the fact that no matter how many times I tried to straighten it, the canvas was always on an angle. So I had to crop off some parts.
This copy looks terrible compared to the actual one, as the digital camera distorted colors, the sky, lots of the detail, and made my sharp lines go blurry. The color transitions look a ton better on the actual one, the same goes for everything else.
If I manage to get a better copy, I will update this picture with that one.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
